Travels with Jo: In search of Lexington is a youtube series that follows Danny and Jo Mayer as they utilize public and alternative transportation to get around Fayette Urban County, Kentucky. Along the way, father and daughter visit off-beat places, tell off-beat stories, and do other off-beat things. Equal parts Anthony Bourdain, Dave Shuffett, and Norwegian slow tv–along with a dash of off-brand regional history–Travels with Jo will introduce viewers to a whole different bluegrass.
The first season finds Dad and Jo riding the city’s LexTran bus lines. Adventures ensue.
